From Asahikawa City and Asahikawa Airport (AKJ), arrive to within 2 minutes of our location via The 'Lavender Go' Bus (unreserved, year-round schedule) at a cost of around ¥800 (alight at Naturwald Hotel). From Sapporo's New Chitose Airport (CTS), skiers may use the Hokkaido Resort Liner Bus (reserved, winter season schedule only) at a cost of around ¥4,500 pp (alight at Naturwald Hotel). From Sapporo City, the Chuo Bus company operates year-round services to JR Furano Station at a cost of around ¥2,500 pp.

Love rail adventures? Arrive in Furano via Japan Rail (JR), with services offered between Furano and Sapporo City, Sapporo New Chitose Airport (CTS), and Asahikawa City. Asahikawa Airport ('AKJ') is not on the rail network (see "Arrive by car" or "Arrive by bus" for access details from AKJ). Airport special services operate between Sapporo's New Chitose Airport and Sapporo City, with onward connections to Furano (via Takikawa), where a change from "limited rapid express" trains to "local service" trains is required. (Note: there are no elevators at JR Furano Station and access to and from platforms is via stairs).
